What is this website about?

This website was founded to spread accurate information about the African Hedgehog owned as pets accross the United States to owners, soon-to-be owners, and government legislators. Currently, there are over 40 states in the United States that allow hedgehogs.

In the following areas, hedgehogs are illegal:

  • Arizona
  • California
  • Georgia
  • Hawaii
  • Maine
  • Pennsylvania
  • Washington, D.C.
  • The five boroughs of New York City

    • The current focus of this movement is to appeal to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife about why Californians should be allowed to own and keep these precious pets legally within the state.
